Workshop 4 - Week 5 - 2011

Workshop #4, 2011
Monday, Week 5

We will be continuing to look at:
*** Using Google Documents to host and upload
document that we may want to make links to in future and,
*** Using Txtbear and PDFOnline to convert documents
and have these documents hosted for linking purposes.

Saved documents to be uploaded can be hosted by Google Documents
This will provide you with a general site that hosts all of your
similar documents and will also provide you with a URL to link to,
enabling viewing of each document.

Converting Word documents to a PDF/webpage can be done
through TxtBear.  This will also provide you with a URL to link to,
enabling viewing of each document.

If scanning work, wanting to convert your image to a PDF and/or have a
URL to make a link to your image, save the scanned image and upload it
using PDFOnline.  You'll then need to use Txtbear or Google Documents to
host the PDF file so that you have a location to make a link to.

(*Check the size of your image.  Very large images may be too
big to convert.  You can right click on the image and open it with
Microsoft Officer Picture Manager to resize pictures fairly easily)
